Tele Dental radiology is the transmission of digital Dental images of patients, Specifically a Cone Beam CT ( CBCT ), from any healthcare facility (hospital or imaging center), over the internet, to remotely located Dental radiologists for interpretation and Evaluation. The concept aims to achieve specialization and growth of Dental radiology services while simultaneously reducing costs, maintaining accuracy, and upholding quality, without requiring dedicated expert Dental radiologists to be present onsite.
